Goodbye Rambo...

Just an update...Rambo is no longer with us... Don't worry he's in good hands. Lately he had gotten worse about living with Lydia. He never went to attack her, he just got stressed out and would howl everytime she talks, crys, or babbles. This had begun to wear on a pregnant lady's nerves. Along with this crazy behavior he's also become more agressive to anyone that comes to our house. I guess that is the chiquaqua nature in him but it was begining to scare me b/c I was never sure what he would do. Not that he could really hurt and adult if he tried, but if that someone happened to be a small child or friend of Lydia's he could definetly give a scare and maybe even a nip! Not good. So...to make a long story short, Rambo is now happily becoming spoiled as ever with some ladies in Durham, NC. Connections were made through a close friend of my sister and I feel that he is totally in good hands. He's also getting some much needed attention and from what I hear, has his own little doggie appt with fuzzy bedding and all. He shares a room with a great dane-which just makes me laugh-but oh well. :)

A part of me is going to miss the little guy. After all, he's been through alot with us and has always been there to comfort us when we were sad or sick, and always made us laugh when he ran nascar laps around the house. I'm very surprised, but Lydia has not even looked for him since we left him in NC over the Thanksgiving holidays. I'm just happy and can rest easier knowing he is with people who are giving him the attention he needs (and that he's not around small children!) . Jeff says if we get another dog (way in the future) it will be a kid-friendly outside dog. I agree with him.

So-this blog entry I'm dedicating to Rambo. We hope that you will be happy in your new home and with your new family. Thanks for making us laugh. We'll miss you but won't ever forget you. Be a good boy and don't bite any little kids.
