What I have enjoyed about being pregnant...only a few more weeks to go now...
*people really go out of their way to be nice to you and try to help you out
*I can eat at anytime of the day and not feel bad about it
*2nd trimester
*thankfully I had no morning sickness with either pregnancy
*be pregnant during the holidays (EAT UP!)
*I think it's the only time in my life I can walk into the gym while eating Cadbury Mini Eggs
*Jeff and Lydia talking to my belly
*Eventhough I've gained weight-I've managed to stay into my normal lounge around clothes for the most part
*feeling that little body wiggle around
As I hit my 3rd Trimester mark, I've rapidly felt myself start to slow down in the everyday things I do. This pregnancy has been a very good one and seems to have flown by so fast-I can't believe I'm weeks away from meeting my 2nd little girl. We've been in the process of getting Lydia moved into her big girl room and so far the transition is going well. Since we updated her old nursery with the name "Jada" on the wall, I think she might be starting to get what is happening. Who knows...I think she definitely has a sense that her big girl room is her new room since all her bears and stuffed animals are camped out in there now. Along with the new room transition, we've had a little success with the whole potty thing also! I know she is still very young-and I am not trying to rush the potty training process, but lately she has been running to it herself. (this happens maybe once or twice a week-so not consistently yet) I think it may be the 4 M&M's she gets afterward for going that keep her motivated (thank you Jamie for the M&M idea!)
I can not believe that Lydia recently hit her 18 month mark. Where has the time gone!? Soon she'll be waving bye with a book bag on her shoulder on her way to school. It's so amazing to see how her little personality is blooming everyday. Here are some things she's been into lately:
*dancing to old school Michael Jackson (she likes to put her hands on her knees and do the endzone football dance most of the time)
*learning to eat with a fork and spoon
*running along side us when we go for a walk (maybe she'll run cross country?)
*drinking strawberry milk
*wear mommy's shoes around the house
*brush her teeth (BY HERSELF!)
*wash her hands
*make funny faces in the mirror
*babble (sometimes a word or two comes out)
*likes to say NO NO NO while shaking her finger at you
*itsy bitsy spider is one of her favorite songs now
I'm sure there are tons I'm not thinking of at the moment, but those are the ones that def stand out on a daily basis.
